Viva Kiva: How Frontline launched microlending

Micolending was a great idea. In theory it enables extremely impoverished people to engage in self-employment projects that allow them to generate an income and, in many cases, begin to build wealth and exit poverty

Organizations like Accion, the Small Enterprise Foundation and Kiva.org have been providing these opportunities for years now.

But as usual, it took a little national exposure to jump start the idea that launched a wave of financial activity. More impressive still is the way this information can be presented in such a dynamic format. Finding an exciting way to present your data is as important as the data itself. (Plus, you give it the chance to go viral.) Imagine being able to demonstrate to your leadership, board or investors, success in the manner Kiva did with this vimeo:
